Christopher Simporis is an experienced Occupational Therapist and Case Manager dedicated to supporting individuals who have sustained complex injuries, including brain injury, spinal cord injury, multi-trauma, neurological conditions, amputation and chronic pain. Since qualifying as an Occupational Therapist in 2015 and becoming a Case Manager in 2020, Christopher has worked extensively in neurological rehabilitation, helping clients navigate their recovery journey.

Christopher works closely with clients and their families, alongside multidisciplinary teams and other professionals, to assess needs and design tailored rehabilitation programmes. His role spans from the acute stage of injury through ongoing rehabilitation, settlement and longer-term care planning, ensuring that clients receive consistent, personalised support.

He specialises in creating structured, client-centred rehabilitation plans for adults and has experience supporting young people as they transition into adult services. Christopher is highly skilled in a range of assessments, including Immediate Needs Assessments, functional and activities of daily living (ADL) assessments, cognitive assessments, mental capacity assessments, moving and handling, risk assessments, care package planning, equipment prescription and housing adaptations. His approach is thorough and pragmatic, with clear clinical reasoning and recommendations that prioritise client goals and independence.

As a Case Manager, Christopher coordinates multidisciplinary input such as occupational therapy, physiotherapy, psychology, neuropsychology, speech and language therapy, pain management,vocational rehabilitation and care teams. He works across NHS, private and statutory services, adapting programmes as clients progress or their needs change. Christopher is known for translating complex clinical presentations into clear, achievable plans that focus on outcomes meaningful to the client. He balances clinical priorities with practical considerations, supporting sustainable rehabilitation and helping clients and families understand the process every step of the way.

Before qualifying as an Occupational Therapist, Christopher gained hands-on experience in care roles across community, residential and educational settings. This background gives him a strong understanding of day-to-day care delivery, informing his ability to design and oversee effective support packages. He provides structure and guidance to care teams, ensuring consistency and safety.

Vocational rehabilitation and return to meaningful activity are central to Christopher’s practice. He supports clients with graded return-to-work plans, liaises with employers and education providers, and helps individuals re-engage with leisure and community roles as part of holistic recovery.

Christopher is valued for his calm, structured approach and ability to build strong therapeutic relationships while maintaining professional objectivity. He supports realistic goal setting and works towards outcomes that enhance quality of life.

He is registered with the Health & Care Professions Council (HCPC) and is a member of the British Association of Brain Injury & Complex Case Management (BABICM), the Royal College of Occupational Therapy (RCOT), and the Case Management Society UK (CMSUK).
