“Will you start the fans, please!”
The NeuroHealth office team put their diverse skills, talents and experience to the test for this year’s summer party, as they took on the challenge of the mighty Crystal Maze! A true test of teamwork, it demonstrated the importance of knowing each other’s unique strengths and matching them to the challenges of each game, as well as providing a supportive and encouraging atmosphere, to help each other under pressure to get those crystals! Led by our fearless Team Leader Melissa de Beer, with a special mention going to an excellent display of athleticism by Brodie McNab, who managed to complete his physical game so quickly (within half the allotted time) that he didn’t even realise the challenge had finished! It’s always lovely to spend time with colleagues, away from computers, desks and day-to-day work, and it also acts as a reminder of why it’s so important to really get to know the people you work alongside – you can easily be part of a team, but belonging in a team and achieving success, as an individual and collectively, requires an investment and commitment to each other, nurtured and developed over time.
10 Crystals, 1 lock-in and 163 golden tokens later…we finally cracked the Crystal Maze!
Alas! We didn’t get to see Mumsey…but as you can see from the photo we were pretty excited all the same!
